I’ve been working all weekend to populate this website and learn how the theme’s templates and patterns work. It assumes a blog site. And I can see the value in putting one’s thoughts into pixels periodically to keep an audience engaged, but mostly I plan more of a portfolio site. It’ll showcase events (publication of my poetry book coming from Shanti Arts…I’m very excited and think this publisher is a terrific fit for my work – check them out!) newly-published poems in literary journals, ongoing art projects, etc. But I think I can keep the blog thing going on too. We’ll see.
