Five Senses

On this walk, the mindfulness, writing, and drawing exercises all ask participants to pay close attention to one sense at a time. We may forage for wild edibles, choose one tree and explore the bark with all our senses, pay heed to what we can't see (beetles, worms, fungal mycelium).

By keeping each period for drawing and writing short, we aim to produce draft material - notes and sketches for something we might finish later - or not. We're opening the pores of our creativity.

I can design this walk on any piece of public land you like - and have several well-tested routes to offer.
