Welcome to Wild Ink.

I'm Amelia L. Williams, poet, eco-artist, writer/editor, meditator, hiking enthusiast, teacher, amateur naturalist, and avid anti-fracking activist. I'm working to stop the  proposed fracked-gas pipelines that would cut through Virginia's forests, threatening waterways and devastating rural landowners and their communities.

Check out photos of three art installations that mount a protest against the Atlantic Coast Pipeline and my "how to" instructions for those who want to make their own land-based art as a protest tactic: Put Art in Your Arsenal.

Another key interest is the intersection of mindfulness practices, being outdoors, and creativity. See Wild Ink Walks to learn about my outings that  explore this nexus.
